  • 1/2 cup diced avocado
  • 1/2 cup diced mango
  • 1/2 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
  • Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey.
  2. Place the cooked rice in the bottom of 4 bowls.
  3. Top the rice with the avocado, mango, pineapple, red onion, cucumber, and trout sashimi.
  4. Drizzle the sauce over the top of the poke bowls.
  5. Season the poke bowls with salt to taste.
  6. Serve the poke bowls cold, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Note: You can also add other ingredients to the poke bowls, such as diced tomatoes, diced bell peppers, or diced jalapeño peppers, for extra flavor and nutrition. You can also serve the poke bowls with a sauce, such as a spicy mayonnaise or a wasabi mayonnaise, for added flavor. Just be sure to prepare the sauce while the poke bowls are being assembled.
