A recipe for clams on the half shell!

Here is a recipe for clams on the half shell:

Ingredients:

  • 2 dozen fresh clams, shucked and drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped tarragon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  2. Place the clams on a large baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, tarragon, and lemon juice.
  4. Brush the butter mixture over the clams.
  5. Season the clams with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the baking sheet on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the clams are hot and the edges start to curl.
  7. Serve the clams on the half shell hot, with any remaining butter mixture spooned over the top.

Note: If you don’t have a grill, you can also roast the clams in the oven. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and roast the clams for 10-12 minutes, or until they are hot and the edges start to curl.
