Here is a recipe for baked halibut:

Ingredients:

  • 4 halibut fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Place the halibut fillets in a large baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  4. Brush the butter mixture over the top of the halibut.
  5. In a separate small bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  6. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the top of the halibut.
  7. Season the halibut with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake the halibut for 10-12 minutes, or until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Serve the baked halibut hot, with lemon wedges on the side if desired.

Note: You can also add other ingredients to the bread crumb mixture, such as chopped herbs, grated lemon zest, or minced garlic, for extra flavor. You can also top the halibut with sliced tomatoes, sliced leeks, or sautéed spinach for added nutrition. Just be sure to arrange the toppings over the halibut before baking.
